Michael Augins is co founder and president of Imagen Dental Partners. They are a DPO that started in March of 2020. They are one of the only DPOs that focusses exclusively on partnering and growing high technology practices. They’re currently growing at a rate of three to five partners a month and supported practices grew their EBITDA by over 80 percent in 2021

 

Michael started his journey as an entrepreneur in college selling a product he co-invented called the Bottle Buddy which allowed college students to drink faster. He parlayed this invention into Premier Event and Tour a company that produced spring break events and grew into the largest in the country.

 

He continued his entrepreneurial journey into the world of business as he helped healthcare companies maximize their growth. After serving as president of Sirona for 15 years he helped lead the merger of Sirona with Dentsply forming the world’s largest dental company where he served as North American commercial officer. After leaving Dentsply Sirona, he partnered with Rezwan Manji former President of Spear education to form a DPO that took the best attributes of group and independent dentistry and that’s how Imagen was born.
