Well, this past week was event-filled. Absolutely insane events like The Boss’ birthday parade thinly veiled as a celebration of America’s military. While that event appeared to be a dud, it still positioned our military personnel as Toy Soldiers. If that wasn’t enough to infuriate you Toy Soldiers were also being utilized in LA to settle non-existent unrest. Almost enough nonsense to forget that totally normal things like Father’s Day occurred as well. Lewis took the opportunity to honor his late father not only a principled man, but fantastic artist. This one is for all the dads out there.

Madness has taken its hold on all of us. In Lewis’ case it’s actually been Mucho More Madness. He’s tired of talking about it, but what “it” is even is under debate because the truth doesn’t matter. Even after a long holiday break the Mucho More Madness is still too much. Elon was drummed out of Washington, DC. Presumably to detox. WTF might just be the best way to collectively describe what’s happening currently. As we head into the long holiday weekend we’re reminded of how much that simple phrase can define things. Whether it be Lewis attempting to make sense of what his favorite sports teams are doing. Perhaps it can describe anything that RFK did in the last 10 days. Or maybe it can be attributed to the Boss’ trip to the Middle East or his “big beautiful bill”. The reality is you can apply a simple WTF to almost anything, go ahead say it out loud, it can be cathartic.

Lewis has returned from some shows performed at his Alma Mater, the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Was it a fun visit for nostalgia trip? Or, as he put it, might’ve been an acid flashback. But while Lewis had all the intentions about talking about performing at his college longer, the news of the day needed to be addressed and boy is there a lot – from The Boss’s declaration for everyone to have to tighten their doll and pencil budgets, how AI might be picking a new Pope, or a “necessary” military parade? It has us all harkening back to simpler times, perhaps when we were in college and just having a great time without much a care in the world.

Lewis is back from Georgia where he held his invitational golf outing and has some people to thank for their work in making it all happen and the people at the Luv U Project who work day in and day out to better assist people’s mental health.
