No matter how big or small a failure may seem, we are the ones who actually get to define what it means for our life. We get to choose how we will navigate a setback. We get to decide how to handle a closed door. Will you choose to go find the next open door? Will you choose to get back up and get back on the hard path of showing up for yourself? Failure and rejection can lead us to amazing opportunities in life! Don't forget that!

It can be hard to distance yourself from someone or somewhere you know isn't good for your well-being. What I can tell you from personal experience though is that it has always been worth it to have the uncomfortable conversations, start filling your time and energy with what's positively influencing you, and deeming your mental health more important than dealing with toxicity. Choose self-respect and know when it's time to walk away!

Fear is something that will hold us back for a long time if we let it. Taking risks will ultimately lead us down the path we're supposed to be on, because we can only truly fail if we don't pursue what's on our hearts. Choosing to be brave and choosing to feel the fear but do it anyways will be a sure-fire way to build trust and self-respect with yourself!
