In this episode of Literally First Class, Keri and her partner Jake Kauffman talk about the launch of his most recent book 'Let Love In'. Jake details the writing process, the hardest and easiest parts, and the experiences during this journey. Jake shares that because he has more of a calm, slow-paced way of working, publishing a book was somewhat challenging for him.
With this work, Jake has learned that less is more. Usually, people that describe themselves as high performers tend to get more stressed and overwhelmed with the "go-go-go" mentality. According to him, going slow, cultivating peace of mind, and prioritizing well-being are the ideal combination for being successful in all areas of life.
In addition, they talk about the differences and similarities between being anxious and being excited. There is a fine line between these two, and it is important to identify each one in the body. Tune in to learn more!

In this new episode of Literally First Class, Keri speaks about the idea of being afraid of success. It might be odd, but many people - especially women working as entrepreneurs - fear achieving a certain level of success, which is ironic because success was what drove them in the first place. Thinking your dreams are too big is the first step to stop dreaming.
Keri also makes a connection between having success career-wise and having success in relationships. Sometimes women discount themselves and unintentionally sabotage themselves because they are scared they will outgrow their partners. Couples should grow and evolve together, one encouraging the other.
If you see yourself in such a situation, inspire your partner to go all in and dream big. The more self-expressed and authentic you become, the more you influence others to do the same. And you will start attracting your biggest and oldest dreams.

Self-care means different things to different people. Some people take care of themselves by going for a long walk in nature. For others, a good self-care routine comes at night before sleep. And some interpret self-care as reading a good book. In order to identify your definition of self-care, you must first recognize what season of life you are in. And most people are in the season of slowing things down.
In this new episode of Literally First Class Podcast, Keri encourages you to find the season of life you are in right now and adjust your self-care routine accordingly. A good example of self-care practice is being fully present with yourself and your loved ones. Another example is respecting your time - and your calendar! - both in your personal life and professional life.
Slowing down never hurts anyone, and many consider this unimaginable. Taking time to reenergize and recharge is also self-care: your business doesn't function if you don't function. It's almost like a rebellious act of stopping the world and taking care of yourself but don't feel guilty for doing so. When we prioritize ourselves, we see what self-care really looks like.

In this episode of Literally First Class, Keri talks about the idea that nobody really cares about what you are doing. We constantly worry about what other people might think and say about us, but the reality is that most of the time, nobody is paying that much attention. People are more focused on themselves.
Instead of focusing on what everybody might think or say about you, choose a few people in your life - family, close friends, or mentors - to listen to. And in parallel, do whatever you want.
This concept also is related to people-pleasing behaviors. We can't please everybody, and we shouldn't. We should only focus on our own wants and needs, which is more than enough. Tune in to learn more!

Where do I go after I reach success? That is the question that many successful women ask themselves before making the next move. There is no correct answer, and even the concept of success can vary from person to person.
In this new episode of Literally First Class, Keri shares a few thoughts on what it means to be successful and what to do after achieving our goals. Once we reach the top of the mountain, we have a decision to make: we can either enjoy what has been accomplished or climb another mountain.
The hard truth is that we might feel unfulfilled even after we achieve success, even after we have a luxurious life, and even after we get to the top. And that is okay. Success is a matter of perspective, and your perspective is uniquely yours. Tune in!

If you tend to hide your weaknesses, this episode is for you. Keri shares an inspiring message about self-love and encourages you to show up to the world unapologetically. Everyone knows when someone is being honest and sincere. When you show up on social media, are you showing the real you?
When we embrace our weaknesses and choose to show them to people, we give them a chance to fall in love with us. Specifically on social media, and if you use the platform to work with clients, your audience is ready and curious to see what is hiding behind the filters. Showing yourself - and your flaws - authentically creates a connection.
So, today's message is to drop the insecurity and choose to lead others. When you start being more of who you already are, it makes people resonate with you more and more.

Did you know that growth is going to involve some degree of discomfort? Someone stepping out of their comfort zone to try new things will not feel safe. As the saying goes: people fear what they don't know. And many times throughout life, we don't make different choices and don't choose different paths simply out of fear of the unknown.
In this new episode, Keri talks about this concept of transformation and encourages you to take the next step, even if it feels risky. The other room can be dark and uncertain, but what waits on the other side might be what you were hoping for this entire time. Besides, darkness is what we were expecting, right?
So when you enter a season of transition and transformation, you won't feel confident. But when you realize that new things happen when you leave the old behind, you will embrace the uncertainty and become who you want to be. Tune in!

Taking time off can be a triggering situation for some people. In the world we live in, where everybody is grinding 24/7, relaxing, replenishing, and reenergizing is not easy. Although slowing down might feel weird at first, the more you do it, the easier it gets.
Today, Keri shares five things she learned during her last staycation. When we take time off, we might not know what to do with ourselves, creating feelings like anxiety, stress, and guilt. If this resonates with you, this episode is for you. Keri shares that she rediscovered several hobbies she was really into in her past. Things like going to a museum, taking a yoga class, exploring the city, and visiting different places are all examples of fun and enjoyable activities.
So, the takeaway here is simple: take some time for yourself. It's ok to relax and seek activities you enjoy. When we create safety around slowing down, we feel that relaxing is also part of life - and an important one. Tune in!

Do you tend to think of the worst possible outcome, thus talking yourself out of trying something new? If so, this episode is for you. Keri shares a strategy to utilize when thoughts start to spiral out of control and have you thinking of anything and everything that can go wrong. If you are a chronic overthinker, this will be a game changer for you, and it is probably not what you think.
If you find yourself thinking of worst-case scenarios, being constantly worried, and having a massive fear of failing, let yourself go there. That might sound counterintuitive and as if it would lead to a bigger problem, but actually the opposite is true. We spend so much energy fighting those negative and spiraling thoughts, that it actually takes less energy to just go there. What if that worst-case scenario came true? What could you do about it? Suddenly, you're thinking about solutions and not struggles. You're thinking about that no matter what goes wrong, you'll be okay. And you'll always think your way out of that box.
Maybe a big fear of yours has come true and you're terrified it will happen again, so let's hold space for that. You now have proof of your resiliency and chances are it won't happen again because you know your way out of that box already. So if you resonate with the chronic overthinking, the looping thoughts, the worst-case scenarios, the constant worry, and the fear of failing, go ahead and go all the way to that worst-case scenario, so that you can think your way out of the box.
