After giving up nine goals on 26 shots against the Detroit Red Wings, Patrick Roy was finally pulled in the second period and upon exiting the ice told Montreal president he was done playing for his team. Four days later he was traded to Colorado. I take a look back at that game and what got the ball rolling for an eventual trade to the Avalanche, changing the Avs franchise forever. The Colorado Avalanche are locked, loaded and ready to go. But what is the one area I have concern about when it comes to next season? Not playoff experience, but deep playoff experience. Will having such a young team hurt the Avs if they make it further than they have over the past few seasons? Tune in and subscribe!

We have talked in the past about the possibility of a one off season with new divisions. Would the division the Avs are proposed to be in be the easiest? Kyle Sullivan is back! Last time he was here we ranked our Star Wars films and this time we are not only discussion the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but we are casting our beloved Colorado Avalanche players into prime roles. The Avs are looking good for this upcoming season, and starting today we will look into what some of the best and worst case scenarios are for their roster. Today we look at Nathan MacKinnon as well as Tyson Jost. Team Canada held another scrimmage and Bowen Byram as well as Justin Barron took the ice. While Barron didn't perform poorly, there is work that needs to be done. Byram on the other hand....look out. He has the makings of a star. Tune in and subscribe!

The NHL finally released all 31 Reverse Retro uniforms for all 31 NHL teams, and the Colorado Avalanche has the entire NHL fan base buzzing with their Avs/Nords mash-up. In addition to that announcement, the Avalanche also announced they would be amending their current uniforms to match colors with their pants, gloves and helmets. I also rank the Central division Retro's from top to bottom. Minnesota Subways do not favor well. Tune in and subscribe!

We always hear about Bowen Byram and Alex Newhook when it comes to Avalanche prospects and rightly so. But when guys like Alex Beaucage go off for four goals in a short period of time, you only feel better about the future for the Avs. We got even more bits of info on the Avalanche Reverse Retro uniforms and it looks like we will be getting Avalanche colors on Nord uniforms. Stay tuned for the full reveal. Brandon Saad gave an interview where he said he loves the city of Denver and loves what they Avalanche have brewing, and because of those factors can see himself riding out his career in Colorado. Adidas gave us a sneak peak with some close up images of the Pacific Division teams Retro uniforms, so could the Avs division be shown today? Kyle and I discuss what they could look like. With nothing at all going on around the NHL, why not rank the nine Star Wars movies as well as cast the current Avs roster into some of the big roles within the movie. Who plays Yoda, or Han or even Jar Jar! Tune in to find out!

Little by little we are starting to get a clearer picture of what will eventually be the Avs third jersey for next season. What I once thought was an Avs exclusive is a league wide marketing venture by Adidas. Does that take away from the Avs / Nords sweaters at all? A listener sends in an e-mail with three very good questions I take the time to answer. The NHL shared a little more about what to expect for next season. Tune in and subscribe!

The Colorado Avalanche are going to be one of the premiere teams this upcoming season and should be for the next several seasons. But that doesn't mean this team will look the same in each of those years. The Avs could look very different after this upcoming season and we take a look at the pieces they could be parting ways with. I also take a look at some of the things Ryan Clark said during our three part interview and take a look at where Tyson Jost stands and the one thing Ryan and I agree on when it comes to the expansion draft.
