Back for another week, it's time to talk about uncomfortable Blue Jays things on the podcast!
Host Ryan Andrews is forced to talk about Roberto Osuna amidst trade speculation. The Nova Scotian discusses their feelings on removing Osuna from the organization, what it says about MLB, and what the Blue Jays can do from a baseball standpoint.
In the second half, the focus turns to the Blue Jays series with the White Sox. Andrews has praise for starters Marcus Stroman, John Axford and Ryan Borucki, and wonders about the health of Lourdes Gurriel. However, the bullpen blemish of Saturday can not be ignored, and scorn is heaped upon Tyler Clippard and Ryan Tepera.
Special hat-tip to @melmora_ for the Brandon Drury analysis!

On a day when the obvious topic is obvious, host Ryan Andrews dives in to deliver J.A. Happ trade analysis with the help of the listeners and the fans!
In the first half, Andrews gives Oliver Drake a brief mention before going into their feelings on watching Happ head to the Bronx, and on what Brandon Drury and Billy McKinney bring the Blue Jays. Andrews recounts a conversation with BProToronto's Joshua Howsam about the perceived redundancy the Blue Jays have in the infield, and whether Yangervis Solarte will need to depart to alleviate it.
In the second half, Andrews turns to the analysis of Official Locked on Blue Jays Yankees Expert David Brown for his opinions on what the Blue Jays are getting and what New York achieved in the deal. Andrews then discusses what this means for Vladimir Guerrero Jr. at the major league level, and closes with what Blue Jays fans can do now that the fire sale has kicked into high gear.
Thank you to @JoshuaHowsam for the conversation and to @davidtabrown, @rolewiii, @Southofthe6ix, @mattmaniac, and @nwyprinc for their contributions!

Ryan Andrews is not in a good mood and needs help sorting their feelings, so Jays From the Couch writer Roy Widrig is on the program to help!
The two discuss last night's abomination of an 11th inning that sealed the Blue Jays' fate in a sweep at the hands of the Twins. Andrews laments the shambles that the bullpen has fallen into and the ninth inning double play that Kendrys Morales had no good choices in avoiding. Widrig points out how bench flexibility could have helped that issue and says that Yangervis Solarte may be expendable now, thanks to Lourdes Gurriel Jr.
In the second half, the pair break down the trade of Seunghwan Oh to the Rockies and where Forrest Wall and Chad Spanberger will fit in the Blue Jays system. John Salvagno of SAL Notes offers a quick breakdown of Spanberger and his thumping power bat, and Widrig is intrigued by Wall's speed.
Thanks to @SALNotes for the analysis!

Stephen Brown joins the podcast for another episode as host Ryan Andrews is not pleased with the performance of the Blue Jays nor Skype!
The two deliver an autopsy on the Blue Jays' performance against Minnesota thus far, from how Ryan Borucki must feel, to Kendrys Morales being the best hitter in baseball, to John Axford being hung out to dry by the bullpen shenanigans of the previous game. In addition, Point/Counterpoint makes a return as the two argue about Teoscar Hernandez's future as an MLB outfielder and Ryan invokes Nelson Cruz to make their argument.
In the second half, the pair discuss the trades made by the Yankees for Zach Britton and the Red Sox for Nathan Eovaldi and wonder if the Blue Jays haven't made a mistake by waiting too long to deal J.A. Happ. Stephen also utters slanderous things about Dunkaroos and Ryan takes him to task for them.

The Blue Jays bullpen game blew up on the team on Monday night and Ryan Andrews sifts through the rubble for some answers. They question the idea to send Tim Mayza out to the mound second, a move that looked bad before Jaime Garcia threw three shutout innings. In addition they bemoan Joe Biagini's fifth-inning issues no matter his role, and why teams like the Blue Jays and Rays and Royals have to resort to these tactics to begin with.
The second half is devoted to the news that the front office has lowered the asking price on J.A. Happ, with Cole Hamels, Danny Duffy and Chris Arhcer on the market, and why the Blue Jays are motivated to sell now.

Vacation Week is over and Ryan Andrews is back in Nova Scotia, ready to discuss the Blue Jays topics du jour.
After a sombre opening reflecting on last night's shooting in Toronto, Andrews moves on to analyze the Blue Jays sweep of the Orioles, highlighting performances from Marcus Stroman, Aledmys Diaz and Randal Grichuk. However, the host can not get too excited over dispatching a team that just traded its superstar, and raises concerns with how much trouble the O's gave the Jays.
In the second half, Andrews discusses Ken Rosenthal's report that the Phillies are interested in Curtis Granderson. It's a good fit, and the host highlights a pair of arms that would make for an interesting return for the Blue Jays. Andrews also bids farewell to Chris Rowley, claimed by Texas, and how the Jays are now very thin in the rotation at a time when rotation pieces are on the move.

With Ryan Andrews on vacation, they are forced to do outside-the-box things and that means turning to friend of the podcast Stephen Brown for a hosting spot!
Stephen offers his unique take on what has transpired with the Toronto Blue Jays this season and highlights a couple of the top performers, including Teoscar Hernandez and Aledmys Diaz.
The man they call Downtown also tries to put a bright face on Russell Martin's campaign and Kevin Pillar's recent slump at the plate. It goes as well as can be expected.

It may be All-Star week for most and Vacation Week for the host, but Ryan Andrews is still going to deliver that hot Blue Jays content!
On location at the scenic St. John's International Airport, the intrepid host gives their top-five most unusual and underwhelming Blue Jays All-Stars ever!
No J.A. Happ does not make this list, but honorable mentions go to Brett Cecil, Steve Delabar and Michael Saunders before Andrews cracks into the countdown. They dig back into the expansion days, touch on some memorable phrases and highlight a Canadian who had the worst performance at an All-Star game, even worse than B.J. Ryan!
The number one pick is guaranteed to surprise you as much as it surprised the host!
