Oregon fans might be worried right now--but history says there's reason to feel alright as the Ducks look for a new head football coach. Perhaps more than Oregon fans realize, the Ducks have been in this position before, and it has gone well more often than not.

Oregon has talked with BYU HC Kalani Sitake, while also asking to interview Cal HC Justin Wilcox and....UCLA HC Chip Kelly. Is Chip the right hire? It might sound like a good idea, but it would be a far cry from the quality of hire it was 12 years ago. Oregon is entertaining the idea, but nothing is set in stone yet--Chip Kelly COULD work, but one other thing would have to happen.
