Locked On Guardians - Daily Podcast On The Cleveland Guardians

1) We open with a yearly tradition. The baseball season is done. So I post my WAY TOO EARLY Mock draft for all teams that have been eliminated. We got over three names for the Indians and why I settled on the player I did. We also talk about the 16th pick. A pick the Indians have never had before in their draft history.

2) We take apart the Friday and Saturday games of the Indian's final series of 2021 and the final series ever for the team with the moniker the Indians. We talk about the good, bad, and ugly while facing a team that has mostly had all ugly this year, the Texas Rangers.

3) We talk about the Cleveland Indians one last time before they become the Guardians. We dig into a brilliant win and going out on that win.

1) We talk about the loss on Wednesday, then dig into the Baseball Savant data to explain what the issue with Wittgren and Plesac has been this year. Also, I dig into why Justin Garza could be a DFA candidate.

2) Next, we look at Shane Bieber's final start and look at a trio of players who played well but are all on the chopping block for next year in Mercado, Allen, and Hentges.

3) Lastly, we talk about the 40 man, and show how it is the Indians could add 11 players once the season ends and still have flexibility.

1) The plan was to discuss the game, but instead I explain why the starting pitching that Indians have had in the last decade should be viewed as truly special and should be viewed like we few the 90s Indians for offense.

2) We dive into the loss to KC. This was a weird game where the Indians got out early then managed to fall to the Royals. We talk about the good, bad, and ugly of this loss.

3) We talk about my Indians Shadow draft for 2021, the first time I have talked about the players I have chosen this year.

1) Four times in the history of baseball a brother has homered off a brother. Three of those four times involved the Indians. The fourth involved a pair of Ohio-born brothers one would end up playing for the Indians. We dig into the win that produced this fun information.

2) We talk about the return of Shane Bieber. It was his first since the 13th of June, and it was great to see even in a tough loss.

3) We talk about the Saturday and Sunday games before taking some twitter questions about potential outfielders for next year for the Indians.

1) We talk about the first game in the series. The White Sox will make the postseason for the second year in a row for the first time in franchise history. I also discuss why I don't mind the White Sox winning the central.

2) Then we talk about a happier game diving deep into game two.

3) We discuss why it stinks to be an American League Wild Card team and an old friend who is going to be helping a division rival.

1) We talk about the rainout and rescheduling. We talk about the impending promotion of Shane Bieber and why I seem to like the rotation more than the National crowd.

2) We dig into the White Sox series. First, we discuss how they hurt themselves at the deadline. Then it is time to dig into the position by position matchup for the White Sox and Indians.

3) Then we shift to the pitching matchups and bullpen in this series and dig into how it is sometimes better to be lucky than good when it comes to signings.

1) We discuss why the minor league moves before the postseason are important. Then we dig into the Indian's win.

2) We dig into two deeper prospects to know in Micah Pries and Tim Herrin. They were added to the Rubberduck's postseason roster for a reason. So we talk about why these former day-three prospects are making a name for themselves.

3) Lastly, we dig into the Rubberducks postseason win, which was highlighted by Peyton Battenfield's stellar pitching performance.

2) Discussing the doubleheader losses, some records, and draft talk. We also talk about why this should not be viewed as a disappointing season.
