It is Thursday, which make it podcast mailbag day. Thanks to those who responded to our mailbag call with so many great questions. We got enough questions to do a second mailbag tomorrow.
On today's podcast we look at whether comments made by former Giants coach Ben McAdoo about Sam Darnold are worth considering, whether Darrelle Revis will go into the Pro Football Hall of Fame as a member of the Jets, whether Revis could be considered the greatest player in franchise history, why the Jets have drafted so poorly in the second round, whether we should cut Mike Maccagnan some slack for drafting Christian Hackenberg since it was a roll of the dice to upgrade quarterback, and questions about style.

It has been a while since we had a podcast episode so the show returns today with a mailbag episode. As always, thanks to those of you who submitted questions. They were great. I got to as many of them as I could. Apologies if I did not get to yours, and feel free to submit it again next time.
Today we look at why the Jets are hesitant to cut their Draft picks, which team is most likely to finish second in the AFC East, the ideal location for the Jets to own a stadium, which edge rusher on the roster could put together a surprisingly solid season, how America can improve its chances of making and winning the World Cup, whom the next generation of leaders in the locker room will be, and my favorite Jets team.

The podcast returns today with a mailbag edition. Thanks to everybody who submitted questions for the show. I was not able to answer all of them, but I answered as many as I could. I appreciate all submissions, and encourage you to send your question next time if I didn't get to this week.
Today we look at how the Jets will be able to land an edge rusher, why players get called disloyal for seeking big paydays when they will get cut the second they stop producing, how concerned fans should be about the thought of the Jets putting one of their quarterbacks behind backup offensive linemen in preseason games, when Sam Darnold will take over as starting quarterback, what it will take for the 2018 season to be a success, who might pay with their job if the Jets win 5 or less games this year, whether Shaun Ellis or Muhammad Wilkerson was a better Jet, and whether the 1998 or 2010 Jets team was better.

Today is the official beginning of summer. We will celebrate with a podcast mailbag. Thanks as always to those who submitted questions for our mailbag. They are always appreciated. Apologies if I was unable to get to your question. There were a lot of good ones.
Today we look at the ways in which Chad Hansen might resemble or not resemble Quincy Enunwa, what Devin Smith's current status is, which 2018 Jets Draft pick is the biggest sentimental favorite, what type of base defense best suits the personnel the Jets have, what the Jets will be targeting in the Draft if this season goes poorly, and how the loss of Chandler Catanzaro will impact the kicking game in 2018.

It is Thursday, which makes it a podcast mailbag day in the middle of Jets minicamp. Thanks to those of you who submitted questions for this week's mailbag show. They were great. We could not have put the show together without you.
Today we look at the potential depth of the Jets' cornerback group with positive reports coming out of minicamp about the performances of some late round picks, whether it is a good idea for the Jets to give Darron Lee responsibilities as the quarterback of the defense as Todd Bowles has suggested the team will, whether the Jets should be in the market to add a wide receiver and/or tight end as we approach training camp to help out Sam Darnold, and whether a new football league could eventually partner with the NFL to be an official developmental league.

The Jets began their veteran minicamp yesterday. It is the final part of the offseason program. We have gotten through the first three phases and the rookie minicamp. This week is the last time Jets players will set foot on a practice field before training camp.
Tuesday was a fairly eventful first day. There were a number of developments worth discussing so discuss them we will on today's podcast. One of the most relevant events took place on the opposite coast as the Raiders waived former Jets quarterback Christian Hackenberg. The Jets traded Hackenberg to Oakland weeks ago, but the waiving of the former Penn State quarterback made an impact as it guaranteed New York will receive no compensation from the trade. There were also happy developments involving Teddy Bridgewater and Quincy Enunwa and a less than stellar development involving Terrelle Pryor. We will discuss them all on today's show.

In case you haven't been following, Michael Nania has been doing a great series of articles taking a look at how well the Jets played in coverage last year. His series is providing stats for each player. He also is looking at players who were not on the 2017 team but will be on the 2018 team like Trumaine Johnson.
Michael stops by our podcast today to discuss what he has seen so far. His series to this point is somewhere between one half and two thirds complete;. We will talk about Johnson, Morris Claiborne, Buster Skine, Darryl Roberts, Jamal Adams, Marcus Maye, and Darron Lee. Who was good? Who was bad? What are some of the biggest surprises so far? Where does our perception match reality?
Once Michael's series is done we will come back to him to discuss how perceptions might have changed due to the last few weeks of the season.

Our podcast schedule for this week ends a bit early. Today's show will be our last episode until next week due to my travel schedule. With that in mind, I decided to get a mailbag done. Thanks to those of you who submitted questions. Apologies to those whose questions were not answered. Feel free to resubmit them next week.
Today we look at whether the success of some 2017 Draft picks could help change the narrative on Mike Maccagnan, whether Teddy Bridgewater could be traded the way Sam Bradford was two years ago, whether a trade could happen even if Bridgewater starts and plays well, whether the Jets could consider playing multiple quarterbacks within games, how the Jets should deal with their playbook during the transition to Sam Darnold, and how many tight ends the team will keep on the roster.
