The Miami Marlins beat up on the first-place (AL East) Baltimore Orioles to start a three-game series in Miami.

Jazz Chisholm hit a two-run double, Jesus Sanchez added a solo home run, Nick Gordon had two RBI's and Josh Bell had two hits for the Marlins, 36-65. 

The Miami bullpen was magnificent again, pitching 4 1/3 scoreless, hitless innings. Tanner Scott picked up his 17th save. Ryan O'Hearn went 2-3 with an RBI for the Orioles, (60-39) who remain two games ahead of the New York Yankees in the AL East. 

The Marlins and Orioles play game two of this three-game series tomorrow night. First pitch is set for 6:40 pm ET. Edward Cabrera (1-3, 7.36 ERA) will start for Miami. The Orioles have not announced a starter yet.
