Kyle Schwarber's fourth-inning grand slam off Edward Cabrera jumpstarted the struggling Philadelphia Phillies offense- and they erupted from there- scoring nine unanswered runs and sending the Marlins on their way with the two-game split.

The Marlins jumped on Philadelphia starter Tyler Phillips early, when Jonah Bride drilled a three-run home run in the first inning to give Miami the early 3-0 lead. 

Bride had two hits and four RBI's to lead the Miami attack. Jesus Sanchez went 2-4 with a run scored and an RBI. Derek Hill added two hits. 

Red-hot Jake Burger went 2-4, extending his hitting streak to seven games. Burger had homered in four straight games through yesterday. 

Schwarber's shot gave the Phillies the lead at 6-5, and snapped an 0-16 skid for the Phillies all-star leadoff man. (28 HR, 78 RBI's) 

Alec Bohm added an RBI single in the seventh to score Bryce Harper with the insurance run. Bohm- who had two hits tonight- has reached base safely in 31 straight games. Harper had two doubles, giving him 27 on the season. 

J.D. Realmuto added a two-run double. Realmuto, the former Marlin, had two hits and two RBI's. Bryson Stott added two hits and two runs scored. 

The NL East-leading Phils had scored just ten runs over five games during their five-game losing streak, and Miami starter Edward Cabrera hadn't allowed a run in two straight starts. The right-hander had given up just two runs on ten hits with 19 strikeouts over his last 17 innings. 

That all changed today, as the Phils roughed him up for six runs on six hits in just four innings of work. 

The Marlins have the day off tomorrow. They play the Mets in a three-game series in New York starting on Friday. First pitch is set for pm ET. 

Roddery Munoz (2-6, 5.67) will start for the Marlins. Max Meyer and Valente Bellozo will pitch games two and three in New York.
