Carlos Rodón is the best free agent starting pitcher left on the market, as he is coming off a career-year that saw him finish fifth in the AL Cy Young voting. While Rodón has ace potential, he also comes with great risk as he has a history of injuries which showed up at the end of the 2021 season.

Is the upside worth the gamble for the New York Mets to sign Rodón to complete their starting rotation? Or should they try to sign a durable pitcher they can count on more like Zack Greinke?

Host Ryan Finkelstein discusses Rodón's fit on the Mets and whether it would make sense to go all-in on the left-handed pitcher, despite all the risk.

The perception is that the New York Mets have to add at least one more starting pitcher this offseason.

Host Ryan Finkelstein examines whether the Mets rotation really needs another addition or if Max Scherzer was enough for them to be set for Opening Day.

Jacob deGrom and Scherzer present more upside than any other duo in baseball, but can the Mets get enough production out of Carlos Carrasco, Taijuan Walker, Tylor Megill and David Peterson to make it through the 2022 season?

After hitting 32 home runs in 113 games, Kyle Schwarber is one of the best sluggers left in free agency.

While the Mets could certainly use his pop in the lineup, does having Robinson Cano on the books prevent them from going after Schwarber?

Host Ryan Finkelstein discusses whether Schwarber can still fit with the Mets and what it would cost to acquire him.

The New York Mets made it clear once free agency started that Marcus Stroman was not a priority for them, as they pursued other free agents like Kevin Gausman and Robbie Ray, before ultimately landing Max Scherzer.

But when Stroman signed with the Cubs, it was for the exact type of contract the Mets based their free agency strategy on, a short-term, big-money deal. If the Mets managed Stroman's free agency better, could they have re-signed him after landing Scherzer?

Host Ryan Finkelstein discusses what went wrong and if the Mets will come to regret not bringing Stro back.
