The Minnesota Twins could be looking to get off Josh Donaldson's contract this offseason and the New York Mets could be the ideal landing spot.

Host Ryan Finkelstein discusses Donaldson's fit in New York and how he has continued to perform as one of the best third basemen in baseball despite his age. Would Donaldson be a better target for the Mets than signing Kris Bryant?

Also what would it cost to acquire Donaldson in a trade and could the Mets find some bullpen help from the Twins in that deal as well?

Expectations are sky-high for the New York Mets next season, as fans are dreaming of a World Series championship. Yet if you look at MLB history, rarely does a team come from years of losing to suddenly win it all.

For this Throwback Thursday, host Ryan Finkelstein looks at recent World Series history to explore whether Mets fans should expect the team to win it all in 2022.

Ryan explains why fans should set their sights on the NL East division title before looking ahead towards a championship.

Francisco Lindor's first year with the New York Mets left a lot to be desired, as he posted the worst offensive season of his career. Still, there is plenty of reason for optimism with Lindor entering his second season in Queens.

Host Ryan Finkelstein compares Lindor's struggles to Carlos Beltran's woes with the Mets back in 2005, when he posted his worst offensive season in his first year of a big contract. Beltran would go on to have one of the best seasons in franchise history the following year, leading the Mets to an NL East division title.

Now that Lindor is settled in New York and coming off a strong second half offensively, there is no reason why we can't see the talented shortstop post a career year in 2022.

New York Mets top-five prospect Mark Vientos had a great season this year, bashing 25 home runs in the upper levels of minors. After posting a similar season to Pete Alonso's last year in the minors when it comes to the power, what kind of impact can the 21-year-old slugger have on the Mets next season?

Host Ryan Finkelstein breaks this down for a Friday Farm Report, comparing Vientos to Alonso and how defense is the last thing standing in his way of making his MLB debut.

Also do the Mets need to trade J.D. Davis to clear room on the roster for a player like Vientos?
