On today's Locked On Nationals, Ryan takes a look at the Nats top prospect Dylan Crews. Ryan surely thinks he will be making an impact in 2024 for the Nats, but when will that debut come? And when he does make his debut, what impact will he have? Ryan discusses the idea of the Nats signing Noah Syndergaard, and another mystery pitcher who may fit the Nats better. Lastly, Erick Fedde won MVP of the KBO... OH MY GOD.

Ryan opens up today's show discussing future star SS CJ Abrams, and discusses why it would be the best time to lock him up with a long term deal. Why would it make sense for both parties to discuss a long term deal? Let's take a look at the Nats farm system as Ryan has his eyes set on two prospects you may not think about too much; RHP Travis Sykora & OF Daylen Lile. Lastly, free agency dominoes have started to fall but the Nats have been out of the race.

On this what if Wednesday, Ryan takes a look at the Washington Nationals ownership situation as it has been a muddy situation over the last year & a half. What if the Lerner's decide to stay put as the Nats owners? Would it be a good thing overall? Also, the Nats should highly consider trading away DH/1B Joey Meneses. Ryan lists his reasons why, and then gives his ultimate decision. Also, let's talk about Stone Garrett and why he could be set for a breakout season.

Ryan has convinced himself that there could be another reuning set for Nats fans this offseason, and that reunion would be with former top prospect Lucas Giolito. Giolito is a free agent after having some tough years with the White Sox, but also still showing some promise in bouncing back. Also, Ryan already knows who the next Nats 1B could be in 2024 (not literally), and he tells you who that will be right here.

Former Washington Nationals GM Jim Bowden threw out a possibility that the Nats could be a sneaky suitor for the former Cy Young winner Shane Bieber. Ryan discusses that potential move, and also another one that no one has been talking about. That is 2B Jonathan India from the Cincinnati Reds, would this make more sense than Bieber? The Nats have a plethora of outfielder prospects, but Ryan goes into why the Nats shouldn't look to move off of any of them at this moment in time.

As free agency inches closer & closer, the rumors are coming out that the Washington Nationals could be interested in bringing back 3B Jeimer Candelario. Would that be the right fit for what the Washington Nationals need at this moment? Ryan gets into why the Nats shouldn't be too aggressive in pursuing big swings in free agency, as the Nats will still have their eyes on the future.
