With that, Christina emphasized the importance of seeking help and community, and highlighted the need to challenge toxic relationships and limiting beliefs. She also encouraged listeners to trust their intuition and explore proper breathing techniques for their physical and mental well-being. Today, I am super excited to bring special guest Diane Sassano to you. She was incredibly vulnerable in sharing her story, and how that guided her to the work she is doing today. Diane is a dynamic storyteller as a way to clearly explain concepts. This was such a fun conversation, where we dove into topics such as:

In this episode, I reflect on the conversation I had with Reese regarding overcoming trauma holistically.
Trauma is a complex topic, not to be minimized. It impacts the body and mind, and the importance of a holistic approach to healing. I shared a bit of my personal journey of healing and the various tools I have found helpful, including breathwork, journaling, and therapy.
Healing is not your purpose, there is no timeframe on healing, it is a journey of which it is important to acknowledge your progress, being resourceful, and continuing to improve.
I encourage you to reach out for support and share their experiences.
You are not alone!

Overcoming Trauma Holistically, is that even possible...
In this episode, I have a conversation with Reese who is an indigenous medicine woman and author using her training to help others overcome trauma holistically.
Reese and I discuss:
1. What trauma is, as well as explore what it is not
2. Holistic, exploring what this actually means; it is more than just natural. It is working with the entire body, including the mind, emotions, spirituality, the physical body, diet and self care.
3. Overcoming and healing takes deep work, using tools like breathwork, art therapy, music, talk, journaling or writing things down to remember.
4. There is HOPE!
5. Learn to laugh
6. Recovery - it is mostly possible
7. Building your own toolbox.
You can find Reese at @traumaToBliss on all platforms.
Reach out, let Reese and I know what your biggest takeaway is from this episode. And share it with a friend who could benefit.
