Lieutenant Colonel Scott Mann is a former Green Beret who spent most of his adult life in Army Special Forces, serving in places like Colombia, Peru, Ecuador, and Afghanistan. His work focused not just on combat, but on building trust in low-trust environments - helping small teams connect with locals and turn them into strong partners. After the military, he shifted that same focus on human connection into leadership coaching, storytelling, and writing. He’s the author of Nobody’s Coming to Save You and his newer book The Generosity of Scars, and he’s known for helping leaders improve by focusing on relationships, storytelling, and real human connection.
