Thanks for listening to another episode of the Women’s Maximum Fitness Podcast!
Lydia Knoll isn’t a professional bodybuilder. Honestly, she hasn’t even competed yet. So why interview her for the podcast? The answer is simple: her work ethic, dedication, discipline, and passion have gotten her as far as cancer will allow her for the time being, and her story of strength needs to be told. Her message is clear: “appreciate what you have today.” She doesn’t want your sympathy, snd she’s not playing victim. Every day she gets up and fights whether it’s chemo or just 30 minutes of movement at the gym through excruciating pain. She’s rather be squatting heavy, so if you can, here’s your reminder to use your strength, your muscle, your heart, your physicality and appreciate that you can move!
I wish I could say this story has a “happily ever after” ending, but Lydia is in the middle of this fight. It’s not over. And she’s been fighting a very long time.
I hope this episode of the Womensmaximumfitness podcast encourages you to appreciate your health and helps you discover whatever you are passionate about.
