Martin Luther King Jr. was one of the most famous civil rights leaders ever. He spent the 1950’s and 1960’s organizing peaceful protests and marches in the name of equality. On April 4th 1968, while in Memphis helping sanitation workers strike, Dr. King was assassinated. The man the FBI found guilty? James Earl Ray.
