Marcus Lush Nights

Jim Sutton, who hosted Nostalgia on Saturday Nights on Newstalk ZB from 1988 to 2013, died in Wanaka over the weekend - he would've been 80 tomorrow.
Marcus opened the show tonight with his memories of one of New Zealand's most-loved hosts.

Marcus Lush has made it clear that his show is no place for misinformation and conspiracy theories.
While discussing the second New Zealander who has been diagnosed with coronavirus, caller Rangi-Marie's anger over coronavirus - which she believed was a "scam" - was quickly shut down by Marcus Lush. 
He told her that he would not be "the portal for misinformation" in a time when we need an unified voice. 
"This is a time where we have to be responsible with the information we put forward." 
As she continued to insist that everything was a scam, Marcus asked the woman if she would promise never to call again, as he found her "unsettling".

This week, Marcus Lush continued his annual tradition and asked listeners to share their five predictions for 2020
57 people - including Marcus and producer Dan - shared their thoughts, and we've got all the results here.
12 people think Donald Trump will get re-elected this year, while four people think he will lose, and two think he'll spark a major international crisis. 
Voters were split on whether Jacinda Ardern or Simon Bridges will emerge victorious, but several think ACT will have a big role to play in post-election negotiations. 
People are also predicting a bad year for the All Blacks, a good year for the Warriors, and plenty of sporting and celebrity deaths or retirements!

At the beginning of 2019, Scott (like dozens of other listeners) made five predictions for the year. He claims they all became true, making him the winner of the 2019 Predictions Contest.
