Marissa is a little earth angel. She is so beautiful to look at, but it’s her tender heart that just melts you. We talk about how being a hair stylist is next in line to be a therapist bc people sit in her chair and spill their guts. As one of the top stylists in her profession, she tells me how she manifested her dream career and started hustling for it in high school. She talks about navigating the pressure of working with celebrities and how she deals when a client leaves... it’s actually a pretty magical perspective. Marissa also talks about the art of conversation, and being a safe place for people to unload and share what’s on their minds and lives, bc after all, when people are going through a big life shift, the first thing anyone does is change their hair. “Don’t get bangs after a breakup,” she laughed!
