In the early morning hours of August 12, 2008, Christie Scott was home alone with her children. Her husband was out of town. After putting her two sons to bed, Christie finished the movie she was watching. Later, she was awakened out of a dead sleep quickly realizing that something was wrong. Her house was on fire. Christie whisked her youngest son out of the burning house, but sadly her 6-year-old son was still inside. On the surface, it seemed that time wasn’t on Christie’s side and she had to make a choice that no parent ever wants to make. However, as investigators dug their heels into the case a theory arose that painted Christie as a murderer ...a mother who no longer wanted her inconvenient son.
