ME READING STUFF

Hi guys! Today I'm feeling physically better today than I have since March, so I figured I need to say hello while I have a little energy. Not my best podcast, but I've missed this. And I've missed you. Times are rough, my body hates me, the world is in turmoil, but that's why we read and share and watch Amanda Bynes movies. In other words, we are not painting only fans at the moment. I love you guys. Hopefully this improvement will last. And I'm wishing you well as always. XO, Robyn

Hi guys! Thank you so much for all the nice reach arounds. Just kidding. Thanks for reaching out, wishing me well & sending me all the healing thoughts. Great news - I didn't get horrible news from my cardiologist! I'm still not the picture of health, but there's a game plan. So it'll be a long process for me, but I should start feeling a bit more like myself soon. I will be back next week, recording you a new episode. That's my biggest goal. I've missed you all very much, and thanks for putting up with me. I really appreciate the love and support.

In case you guys read these, I thought I'd briefly let you know why I'm only posting old episodes again. I've had issues with my heart since I was a little kid, and they just keep getting worse. It's been an awful and scary month, but I am supposed to find out my cardiologist's game plan next Wednesday, April 26th. So send me some love/prayers/vibes/health/thoughts/anything. I need it. Thanks for your patience. Hopefully I'll be back soon. I miss you guys and I miss being able to talk things out.

And truly one of the most moving experiences of my life was listening/watching Anne Carson's performance "Lecture on the History of Skywriting" at The Hammer:

This book is "a compendium of found poems pieced together form the post-game interviews of professional athletes." say writers Jeff Parker and Pasha Malla. This is a collection of truly remarkable, gorgeous, funny, bizarre & poignant poems by people like Ron Artest, Kevin Garnett, George Best and Tiger Woods. I can not recommend this book enough. It is phenomenal. Preorder it on featherproof.com for only $14.95.
