ME READING STUFF episodes

May 26, 2016 Juan Ramón Jiménez - Who Knows What Is Going On
"I was thinking of the greatness of what was human, and found myself in the divine." -Jiménez

Things loved: clear nostrils, libraries and blankets. Things hated: sticky stuff on tables and terracotta. Things loved: you and this plant.

May 23, 2016 Ghalib - My Head and My Knees
Today, before reading you Ghalib, I went to the DMV and encountered a 91-year-old woman and a young woman who does not envy living a long life. I was quiet. My apps have been deleted from my phone for almost a month. I am wearing a new shirt. I have two new shirts. I will have them for a long time. Unless I die earlier than expected, which is totally possible and also not horrible. I do tend to get places early.

May 19, 2016 Mark Strand - From a Litany
We all need a litany of praise every now and then, right? I dare you to write your own. Include the murky stuff.

Buy "COLLECTED POEMS" by Mark Strand at your local bookstore or here: http://www.barnesandnoble.com/w/collected-poems-mark-strand/1118031927

If you're wanting to praise further, I also recommend these two books from Shambhala:
