Yes, I only fly first class. It's not a snob thing. It's a success thing. In this episode, I talk about the game-changing power of the "Fly First Class" mindset for entrepreneurial success; and, really, success in every area of your life. On top of that, I share and unpack my five must-know and must-do principles: choosing your network wisely, witnessing success firsthand, adopting a success-oriented mindset, recognizing the influence of your peer group, and prioritizing continuous improvement. So, listen in and discover how embracing this mindset and these strategies has propelled my business and personal goals forward – and how it can do the same for you.
In this episode I, Alex Spinoso, entrepreneur and self-proclaimed anti-entrepreneur, share my highly unconventional, genius insights (if I do say so myself). Basically, I unpack the four profitable principles of the anti-entrepreneur mindset. From embracing a privileged upbringing to valuing partnerships over popularity, I challenge conventional wisdom with, ahem, refreshing candor. Learn how embracing crisis mode and prioritizing family can lead to authentic success. Join me as I help you build something real and find true fulfillment…or at least some tiny modicum of happiness.
In this episode, Amanda May and I dive into the creative and compelling mind of my friend and business partner Jacob Stahler, CEO of Bodyshop Wellness. Jacob's superpower is that he is a "systems guy" and he shares expert tips on creating efficient systems for business success. But more than that: Jacob shares his thoughts on a variety of topics in a wide-ranging, thoroughly educational and entertaining conversation, covering everything from "how to exit a company you discover is doing something shady" to "how to keep learning new things to constantly improve in every area of your life." Honestly, Jacob's brain works in strange and wonderful and mind-blowing ways, and I think you are going to really benefit from his wisdom and insight.
If you want to accomplish anything in life, you have to learn to overcome fear. In this podcast episode, I open up about my fear of talking to women, even though I am happily married. As an introvert, I reflect on how this fear manifests and share how I tackle it without having to waste my time "talking about childhood trauma." I stress the importance of naming the fear, creating a plan to overcome it, and taking decisive action. I discuss my personal strategies, such as seeking advice and pushing myself out of my comfort zone; and I urge you to identify your fears, develop a plan, and persistently confront them to boost your confidence.
In this episode, I talk about how facing discomfort head-on in "crisis mode" has sparked innovation and growth for my businesses. Listen in and learn how keeping minimal cash reserves helped me make better decisions, while delegation and responsibility fueled motivation and excellence. Despite risks, embracing challenges has propelled me toward success in all areas of life - and it's a formula that will work for you, too.
Do you hold back your personal growth by dwelling on 'Mexican Death Stories'? My wife Stephanie, who is Mexican, often shares funny but shocking tales of people unexpectedly dying. While these stories can be entertaining (not because people died, but because the absurd way they died), they are similar to the negative ways we let our brains talk to us. If we want to be successful, we have to learn how to rejecting fatalistic thinking, fight pessimism, and focus on our goals. Successful people shift from problems to possibilities. In this episode, I talk about breaking free from negativity and picturing success….and how we all need to avoid dwelling on 'Mexican Death Stories' and write our own success stories instead.
Do you want to be a restless loser or a wealthy, generous winner? In this episode, I share the incredible experience of surprising my dad with a 1965 Shelby Cobra, fulfilling his lifelong dream. I talk about how good it feels to work yourself into a position that allows you to do really cool things for people you care about; and Amanda May and I dive into the rollercoaster of emotions that making money can be, discussing how wealth and generosity intertwine in creating true fulfillment.
In this episode, Amanda May and I discuss a key factor in entrepreneurship success: strategic partnerships. I've discovered that having a strong strategic partner is more valuable than a massive online following. By prioritizing quality over quantity and nurturing genuine relationships in unexpected places, I've unlocked meaningful opportunities that transcend social media metrics. Listen in our conversation to learn how focusing on purposeful connections can elevate every aspect of your business
It's natural to want people's approval – especially people you love. In this episode, I talk about the first time I got a tattoo, why it was so meaningful to me, and how much it sucked when I showed it to my dad – and he hated it. Thankfully, I was able to rebound from his initial rejection (which wasn't personal, it was just his preference) and realize the importance of staying true to myself. How do you embrace your choices, respect others' opinions, but still break free from the need for constant approval? It takes resilience, self-discovery, and a commitment to make choices that align with who we are. The reality is, it's not easy to "do you," but it's essential if you want to live a great life and build something big.

Hey, step into my shoes for a couple minutes as I share my personal story of sacrifice on the path to success. Living in a tiny attic, working in a challenging prison environment, and juggling family and business, I've faced it all. In this episode, I ask three important questions: What do you want? What are you giving up now? How do you feel about it? Learn why picking long-term goals is better than short-term fun, why discipline is vital, and how sacrifices make your story interesting. Join me for simple insights into the mindset that helps you reach your goals and dreams.
