On Tuesday 26 October 2021, officers from Coffs/Clarence Police District attended a licensed premises on Beach Street, Woolgoolga, following reports of breaches of the Public Health Order.
Police spoke with the two owners – a 45-year-old man and a 43-year-old woman – along with several other employees, who some were unable to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination or a valid medical exemption.
Following further inquiries, police returned to the premises on Thursday (28 October 2021) and spoke with the two owners.
A total of $6000 in Penalty Infringement Notices (PINs) were issued to five individuals for failing to comply with noticed direction re s 7/8/9 – COVID-19.
