Aisling Tucker Moore-Reed, also known by her pen name Tucker Reed, is a former novelist and journalist who ventured into acting under the alias Wyn Reed. She co-authored the young adult novel Amber House in 2012 and its sequel Neverwas in 2014. In 2018, while out on bail for a 2016 incident involving the shooting of her uncle, Shane Moore, she secured the lead role in the independent horror film From the Dark. The filmmakers were unaware of her legal situation during casting. Her portrayal in the film, which includes a scene where her character commits a shooting, has drawn eerie parallels to real-life events, adding layers of intrigue and mystery to her story.
