Glenn Du Toit was appointed General Manager of Acer Africa in April 2020. Prior to this, he served as Head of Consumer Business in Acer Africa overseeing the expansion of Acer's business into the African market.

In 2014 Glenn was the founder of MyDigitalMunicipality an online platform to assist municipalities in the area of service delivery. In 2015, Glenn joined Acer Africa and has been involved in various IoT related entities including CloudProfessor, Acer’s innovative education tool and Acer’s ABS IOT signage division. Glenn has extensive experience in consumer-related industries including a tenure at Sony and a period in consumer retail including the global sourcing of various consumer goods.

Glenn has a Batchelor’s Degree in Information Technology Architecture from the Technological University of Dublin and a Professional Certificate in Computing and Behavioural Economics

from Boston College in the USA.

Having gained extensive experience throughout his career in the consumer electronics industry in areas such as operational and purchasing management, marketing and demand creation,

international sourcing and supply chain management Glenn has applied these extended skills to his role as General Manager at Acer bringing new thinking and leadership to empower his team to grow

Acer into an industry thought leader in education, retail, eSports and enterprise edge solutions.
