Are you making enough profit to sustain your business? How is the overall status of your clinic, including your staff? Are you aware of the things going on around your practice in a month? But what if you run out of motivation? What keeps you going? What is it that you desire for your practice to keep running?
Welcome to the PelviBiz Podcast! I’m your host, Dr. Kelly Alhooie, founder of OrthoPelvic Physical Therapy, Pelvibiz, and The PelviBiz Podcast. In this week's episode, I interview one of my Mastermind students, Dr. Rachel Daof of The Pelvic Model.
Rachel and I will touch on such topics as:
About Dr. Rachel Daof
Rachel has earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Chapman University where she began her journey to specialize as pelvic health PT. She has spent her career specializing in pelvic floor dysfunction in all genders, and she is well-versed in bladder dysfunction, bowel dysfunction, sexual dysfunction, pelvic pain, pregnancy and postpartum patients, and transgender patients.
Rachel implements many techniques to help her patients. She is proficient in her orthopedic skills, visceral fascia mobilization, myofascial mobilization, and she is a certified yoga instructor.
Over the years she has grown as a practitioner in both the medical outpatient hospital setting as well as 3 premier pelvic floor physical therapy private practices in Southern California, granting her the ability to treat a wide range of pelvises.
Rachel is a health advocate, and she loves to educate about pelvic health in a straightforward, destigmatizing way. Knowing the pelvis is a delicate part of the body, she aims to make each patient feel seen, heard, and comfortable throughout their pelvic health journey.
She currently fills her spare time trying different recipes in the kitchen, listening to books/podcasts, and thumbing through art.
Join me at the next PelviBiz Live Event on February 23rd at 7pm in downtown San Diego! Over 100 pelvic health providers are coming together to build a community and eat and drink. Best part is you get to learn what other therapists are doing and what is working for them.If you are interested, sign up HERE.5
