I came across a post on Instagram from @powerofspeech that is a great way of articulating not allowing your mood majority vote; like I like to say.

"Don't exchange what you want most for what you want in the moment."

This leads me to circle around and tie conversations about "actions speak louder than words" and "the path to happiness lies through discipline".
