Dakota is a former United States Marine & was awarded the Medal of Honor for his actions during the Battle of Ganjgal on September 8, 2009, in Kunar Province, Afghanistan. Throughout our conversation we discuss the importance of conflict, feelings vs. reality, believing in the goodness in people, changing the narrative around suicide, why people will steal your peace, what it was like having a beer with the president & much more. Joined this week by Nathan Goodworth. Nathan is the founder of OLLIN which is a digi scoping product designed for the outdoors. "Ollin" means to move and act with all your heart right now! Their mission is to connect people to their passions and empower them to follow their path in life wholeheartedly. Nathan has a great mind for business which I asked him all about. The story behind how the company started came from a dream which he took immediate action on.  One thing that Nathan said throughout our conversation that will always stick with me is that " Don't let your idea sit on a piece of paper." Joined this week by the most frequent & popular guest to date, Koby Owens. We start off my talking about the past two years of Koby's life & what's been the catalyst to his success. One of the key components to this being a positive mindset & his extreme work ethic. From there we discuss our experience doubling down on bull elk to close out the Montana general season. In this week's episode I discuss how important it is to keep your priorities on track. Over the past few months I was putting off things in my life that I KNEW I should have been doing. I choose not to do them which led to some extreme downfalls in my life. Now that I have gotten back on track,  taken care of business, & turned my lifestyle upside down, things have been falling into place the way they should be. Coincidence? I think not.
