Welcome to episode #45. Do you ever feel like you are NOT qualified when you begin to work on your dreams? Ironically, know that you ARE more qualified than you realize. 

In this episode I discuss this topic and how it relates to your self-talk, mindset, and your perceived comfort zone. 

If question whether you have anything to share IF you were to start a website, YouTube channel, podcast etc. Just know that it's both natural and human to feel this way. 

But don't let your doubts about whether you are qualified stop you from working on your dreams. Move forward and pursue your dreams anyway. 

When you become wealthy, know that wealth brings both freedom and new options for you. I'm not a guru. Instead I think of myself as a guide from the side rather than a sage speaking from a stage and imparting wisdom. 

Realize that the first person you ever have to sell on your dream is YOU! If you master the concept of believe before your achieve, you will ultimately be successful. 

When looking for a teacher/mentor find someone who will guide you and also cheerlead your success. Let's all work together and help each other to become successful and wealthy.

Welcome to episode #44. Have you ever met someone who mistakes kindness for weakness? There are jerky people in this life. Some people choose to behave as A-holes. 

If you want to maximize your potential to be successful then it's important that you are aware of this concept. Dealing with people and not fearing confrontation is simply part of life. Notice that I did NOT say that you should SEEK confrontation. What I AM saying is that you must NOT FEAR it!

There are two "close cousins" of this same concept and they are: do not mistake my calmness for acceptance, and do not mistake my silence for ignorance. If your words/actions don't match up to me, then I have no problem letting you know. 

Unfortunately, in life, some people will only respect the boundaries that you set with them unless you are willing to get upset with them. And if you project a clear message to people that says, "I am not uncomfortable with confrontation" then people will sense who you are and what you're about. That is a good thing! 

Sometimes people will make you fight for what is already yours. But when it comes to selling and making sales, my philosophy is to forget all the "tricky closes" and simply be genuine. Be yourself. Just be you!

I'm a big fan on meal prepping mainly because I love to cook and because I feel meals that I prepare are healthier and save me/my family money. And, if i can, I want to help you both save money each month and to find ways to make more money. 

It isn't too late for you to achieve your dreams. As long as you are still alive then you can make some progress today. Have courage today, to pick one thing, and work on your dreams.

Welcome to episode #42. In this episode I discuss how rare it is for a baseball pitcher to pitch what is called " a perfect game." Do you know what that is in baseball? 

It's only been accomplished 23 times in the entire history of baseball. Yet each time a game is played, a pitcher attempts to reach this goal. 

What about you? What about your dreams? What about you starting an online business, an online YouTube channel, an online podcast? Do you feel that conditions need to be perfect before you get started? 

Being in business for yourself is about solving problems. It's NOT about getting everything perfect BEFORE you ever start the business on day one! 

Learn to get comfortable with things being messy. Life can be very messy. 

But don't stop believing in yourself and don't stop pursuing your dreams.

Welcome to episode #41. In the spirit of seeking truth and sharing knowledge, I discovered something interesting about search engines. I share what I found out in this episode. I'm not a "sage from the stage." I'm more of a "guide from the side" and that is how I think of myself. 

"Know THY search engine!" What kind of faith do you place in your search engine when you are doing searches for things? What are your expectations? 

In this episode I discuss different search engines. Are you aware that there are other search engine options besides simply using Google? Two other search engine options are Duck Duck Go and Bing. 

In my attempt to respect the value of your time, I would summarize this episode by saying, "Should your search engine provide you some sort of prophylactic protection" by functioning as a type of "cyber nanny" that doesn't permit you to see ALL of the information. Instead this "cyber nanny" search engine decides what is best for you and pre-filters information, allegedly "for your own good!"

Science, when it is not controlled by money/politics is also about seeking the truth. Science is supposed to be "an ever evolving knowledge base." I fee the same way about my approach to life. 

News/media is also supposed to be about seeking truth. That should the overriding principle. Instead of having media that wants to tell you what they think, you should think about the news! 

Use the power of your internet connection to find ways to monetize your ideas and use the power of your internet connection to do your own research. But what would be your reaction if I told you that your search engine is not giving you unbiased/objective search results? 

Check out KDP which stands for Kindle Direct Publishing if you want to create an E-book and then sell it online. 

We all have challenges that stand before us in life. Our decision is always how are we going to react to those challenges. And what do you believe each day? Do you remind yourself each day that achieving your dreams IS possible? If you don't, then why don't you? I'm speaking about what is your daily mindset?

Welcome to episode #40. In this episode I discuss "locking down" in society. 
Three basic questions come to mind:
1) Was the USA lockdown a violation of the US Constitution? 
2) What is the economic effect of the USA lockdown? 
3) What is the effect of developing "herd immunity" in our society because  the USA locked down? 

If lockdowns and mask wearing 24/7 is "the answer" then am I to conclude that viruses get bored and eventually go away if I hide from them? 

What are you doing today to remind yourself of your dream? It's important that you keep remembering your dream. What are you grateful for today? Can you find 10 minutes today to work on your dream and/or feed your soul? 

In all of my podcasts as well as in my life, my overall approach is: to seek truth and share knowledge. I believe you get back what you first give in life! So give freely and give without fear!

Welcome to episode #39. In this shorter episode format I discuss the role that opposition and negativity play in your quest to achieve your goals/dreams. 

More specifically what is your reaction to opposition and negativity? 

How much time do you devote to considering and reacting to opposition and negativity? 

Often it simply takes small course corrections to get us back on track and pursuing our dreams once again. Do you remind yourself of your dream each day? Do you protect and nurture your dreams?

Joel Osteen likes to say that no one but you knows the dream that God put in your heart! So all that is really necessary is for you to realize what that dream is and then begin to work on achieving it. What really does NOT matter is what other people think about your dream or their opinion of your chances for success!

If you take one baby step and then look to evaluate your progress you may feel disappointed. But if you take several baby steps before you check your overall progress, you will likely be surprised/encouraged at how much progress you have made.

Welcome to episode #38. In this episode I talk about my upcoming knee surgery. But more importantly, I discuss the BOND between podcast creators/listeners. 

I very much value and appreciate the listeners of this podcast. I offer the companion Facebook page to this podcast which is called WAYPA Today. And "WAYPA" stands for What Are You Passionate About plus the word Today. 

It is normal for listeners of a podcast to form a bond with the podcast creator(s). Just think for a moment about the podcasts that you listen to. What are some of them? 

And then think about how you feel toward toward the podcast hosts/creators. You likely feel as if you know them even though you probably haven't ever met the person(s) in real life. If you are like me, then you look forward to the uploading of new episodes. 

So podcasts offer a creator and listener a unique opportunity to form an online relationship with each other that is different from a website or social media page. 

My wish for you is that you become extremely wealthy. I hope that you do that by using your internet connection to find ways to monetize your ideas/products/services! And I also hope that you are finding some time to cook and meal prep some delicious/healthy meals! And by cooking at home and meal prepping that will help you save money faster and eat healthier.

Welcome to episode #37. Wow! This is an episode chock FULL of questions!!

What is your skill set? What is your skill set worth in the marketplace? How marketable is your skill set? 

Having a budget is important and knowing your "monthly numbers" is key to all of us achieving our financial goals. We can always have an honest conversation about what you earn but more importantly how do you feel about your current life situation? Are you going to a job that you love? Is your job simply a means to pay your bills while you discover what you truly want to do? 

I heard this phrase recently and it made me pause..."Does your employer earn your love?" 
What a fascinating question! How do you view your job/employment? How does your job/supervisor view you? 

Do you feel valued in your workplace? Or do you feel unfulfilled and is that one reason why you are looking for something different? 

Employees are often told about what is expected of them by their supervisors. Employees are commonly told what will be tolerated on the job and what will not be acceptable. But what are YOUR expectations of your employer? What will YOU tolerate and what will be unacceptable in your job EXPERIENCE? 

Does your employer allow/include you to be part of a change process in your workplace that will make things better for everyone going forward? Or does your employer simply talk about these things but never truly includes you in the process. Does your employer earn your love?

What makes a good leader? What is their approach/mindset? What makes a bad leader? Why do people want to be bosses? What is their motivation to be "in charge?" Do they treat you as someone who should be grateful that you have a job? Or do they work to value you as an employee and work to earn your love? 

Employees often conclude that they must work hard in their jobs. But shouldn't employers also work equally hard to earn your love as a valuable employee? Successful employers who have a positive work culture work to reduce/minimize employee turnover. 

One way to fight against employee turnover  is by listening to employees, showing a willingness to give up some of your "leadership power" and demonstrating "love" for your employees by implementing some of their suggestions. Most people go to a job expecting more than just a paycheck. People want to be treated and respected as adults. 

People don't quit their jobs. Ultimately people quit their supervisors!

Welcome to episode #36. Overthinking your dreams can be paralyzing. Why? Because if you are overthinking, then you are spending valuable time/energy on NOT taking action. This is a phrase (taking action) that is overused in online places today. But it certainly can be true. 

Remember that Millionaires/Billionaires often get just as much criticism as poor people do. And you can't waste your time thinking about what people are saying about you  or concerning yourself with what people think about you. 

Get out of your own head because you need your energy/time to work on your dreams! Planning is not bad by itself. But eventually, we all need to move past the planning stage and enter into the taking action stage. 

No matter what you do/build online, be genuine. Be yourself and then you find/discover what your true message is that you are meant to share with the world.
