The No. 5 Texas Longhorns came out of the bye week with something to prove and did just that, dismantling Florida from the early parts of the game.

Texas did give up some yardage late, after pulling the starters, for their statistically worst game of the year. However, there's nuance required when discussing the performance of the defense against the Gators, especially in the second half.
