In just three seasons under Vic Schaefer, the Texas Longhorns accomplished something that hadn't happened in two decades -- the women's basketball team claimed the Big 12 championship.

Now, the expectations are higher than ever, with the most talented group that's been on campus since hall-of-fame coach Jody Conradt took Texas to the conference title and beyond. Returning all-conference players from a year ago, with talented additions coming in from the transfer portal and high school ranks, the Longhorns hope to make another deep run in the tournament after an uncharacteristically early exit a year ago.
