Amanda Jefferson is one of the world's first KonMari consultants.
She recently landed a spot on the TEDx stage where she challenged us to ruffle some feathers and declare the difference between what we "should" have in our closets as opposed to our must haves.
It's much more than cleaning out your space. It's about recognizing the ways we hold ourselves back starting with the things we have hanging in our closets and moving on from there.
Taking notice that we deserve to be surrounded by, and are worthy of, having everything (and everyone) that sparks joy, down to the socks we put on our feet.
In other words, it's a mindset shift. Shifting from doing something you were told to do to something else because intuitively, you know what lights you up. So, how do you let go? The closet is a great place to start.

Just in case you missed it, Episode #63: Self-Talk: Shifting from Negative to Positive is one of the top episodes of this show and might provide some inspiration as you're letting go of things that no longer serve you.
