Martha Beck has earned a Harvard PhD in Psychology, written multiple New York time bestselling books and from them became Oprah's life coach. But her path there required her to lose nearly everything.

It started when she committed to spending a full year telling NO lies. That led to her revealing her horrific abuses at the hands of her Mormon upbringing, alienating herself from

friends, ending her marriage and having to rebuild her entire life from a place of joy instead of social obligation.

We talk about how most people ruin their lives by trying to fit in, how to find your true purpose and she pushes me to overcome the ways that I've been playing it safe.
