Accountability

Feels like a bad word!  Punitive.  Like we are going to get in trouble or go to the principals office.

All success or great results are inside to outside.  We never achieve on the outside something we don’t first achieve on the inside. 

This is especially true in accountability.

Noone can actually hold you accountable unless you are first an accountable person…

Except the law.  The police can hold you accountable and throw you in jail.  A boss has the right to fire you.  But in most other situations and relationships as adults the accountability has to come from within.

What does it mean to be an accountable person and how do we increase that.

Accountability = ownership

Example of being mugged.

The victim loses their power.  They have no ownership or rights or ability to control the situation.  

Accountable people take their power back.  They own their decisions and their situations.
