It won't be such a long long time before the next episode of Strange Phenomena: it's here now!
This week, we're talking about a cover song (yes! a cover song) by our lovely Kate, of one of her musical heroes: Elton John. Recorded for a compilation album in 1991, Rocket Man was also a charting UK and European hit. And for our discussion of the song this week, we have frequent guest Diego Ortega, to talk about our thoughts on Kate's cover version and also what the song is about underneath that cheery arrangement!

Singer-songwriter Nash Albert talks about his solo album Yet on MIG Music. Yet is one of the best rock records released this year (so far) — it's eclectic in scope and nuanced in style, and very influenced by the psych bands of the '60s and the alternative rock bands of the '90s. Born in Georgia, Albert grew up and lives in Moscow, but has traveled the world with other bands until he put our this recent album. Listen to his story and check out several samples of his songs from the album Yet. It's worth the listen!
