The purpose of the God in Culture Series is to spark conversations that allow christians to examine and critically think about their beliefs in reference to current topics in culture. In part 2 of this series we are joined by Matthew Cowley (mp), he is a career counselor, PHD candidate, and co-host of the Black and Intellectualish Podcast (@blackintellectualish) and much more.

Matt has joined us on this episode to help us discuss and examine the topic of progressive christianity (PC). Progressive Christianity is a recent movement that focuses strongly on social justice and environmentalism and often includes a revisionist (or non-traditional) view of the Scriptures -gotquestions.com. In this episode we explore the idea of PC, its impact on culture and the church, and share some advice on how to learn and ask questions about faith.
