Matthew & Fernando interview Pascal Hügli, an independent researcher and journalist from Switzerland.

Pascal covers his fascinating article from March where he poses the question, was industrial revolution-era Switzerland capitalistic, or socialistic? He looks at the life of Alfred Escher, a radical liberal of the time, and how the banking system tied into the growth of the Swiss economy. He gives some good perspective on what actually is "capitalism" and what is "socialism." He draws parallels to Bitcoin and the digitization of the world today, to the industrialization in Switzerland (and Europe) that occurred in the 19th century.
