Well. We're here. This is the lowest the Patriots franchise has been in 30 years. The Patriots lost to the Chargers 6-0 and it was a completely forgettable game. Their best player on offense, Rhamondre Stevenson, suffered an injury that could end his season. The rest of the offense looked terrible. But, hey, the defense looked great!

The Patriots-Steelers game on Thursday Night has an over/under of 30, which is the lowest since 1993. It's gonna get weird.

Alec and Rich cover it all.

Pat and Matt invite author and NFL writer Dave Archibald onto the show to discuss how the Patriots can rebuild their team to make it competitive again. They discuss strategies for both the offense and the defense, and also some draft day philosophies. They finish with a few prop bets, a trivia question, and a few moments from the week in sports history.

Pat and Matt break down what was just a terribly boring game at rainy Gillette on Sunday. They discuss Zappe's performance, the problems with the offense, and how the defense has been solid, even though they can't win. They also update the draft standings, where the Patriots have jumped in front of(behind?) the Cardinals and into the #2 spot in their quest for the top pick. Pat and Matt discuss Bailey Zappe getting the nod over Mac Jones this week. It was clearly the right decision, based on how Mac has played, but can we expect the team to look any different with Zappe? After a quick Chargers preview, they go over some submitted mock drafts, and discuss how realistic they are, and whether or not they like them. It's almost the offseason, when we can fully get into draft season, but, while the Patriots tank the season away, it's fun to get some mocks in! They finish as they always do with some prop bets for this week, the college football game of the week, a Patriots trivia question, and a few events from this week in sports history!

The New England Patriots season has turned surreal as they became the first NFL team in 30 years to lose two straight games while also holding the opposing team to 10 or fewer points- the first since the 1993 Patriots. There's no way the laughable offense can perform any worse, so why not change it up next week against the Chargers?

Pat and Matt discuss the terrible football game the Patriots played in New Jersey on Sunday. The Patriots certainly appear to be one of the worst teams in the league, and have no good answer at QB right now. The loss did, however, keep the tank alive, as the Patriots are in the driver's seat for the #2 overall pick in next April's draft. The Patriots are testing the limits of rock bottom and will have their weakest challenge of the year as they come out of their bye and face a Giants team that is equally terrible. Loser gets the inside lane for a top 3 draft pick and the winner...wins, I guess? Is it worth it? Which players should New England try to put on the field?

Alec and Rich cover it all.

Pat is joined by Keagan Stiefel of NESN to discuss who should start at QB for the Patriots moving forward, and if any one of the quarterbacks they have are any good. It looks like the Patriots aren't going to have much of a chance to win games moving forward, but should they try to start the quarterback that gives them the best chance to win, or simply embrace the tank? All that, plus a quick look at the draft, and then they finish with a few prop bets, trivia, and a few moments from this week in sports history.

Pat and Matt discuss the Patriots outlook headed into the bye week. Will there be a change at QB when they play again in week 12? Will Bill Belichick be the head coach of the Patriots in 2024? Can the Patriots salvage any part of their season the rest of the way? There is an eye towards 2024 already, as the Patriots are quite frankly a bad team right now.
