I am so grateful for this conversation with Amy Ebeid, my first special guest for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Amy shares about being diagnosed at 28 and the importance of listening to her body and being her own medical advocate, the emotional and mental journey from diagnosis to today, finding healing, safety and forgiveness in her body through yoga and running, and so much more!
Amy Ebeid is a clinical psychologist in private practice specializing in trauma, grief, and eating disorders. She is a writer, runner, yogi, and cancer survivor. Amy strongly believes in the body mind connection as a focus of healing and empowerment both in her professional world as well as personal life. She is a mom of two boys and resides in Northern Va with her family and therapy dog, Cairo.
