The Philadelphia Phillies notched their 5th win in-a-row as they beat the Marlins 5-2 in game one of their four-game series in Miami.  

 

Trea Turner got the Phillies started off right with a leadoff homer to center! His 8th of the season! Max Kepler followed in the 4th with his 9th homer on the year.

 

When the Phillies needed some insurance runs on the 9th, Alec Bohm provided the big hit. Bohm stepped to the play in the top of the 9th with the bases loaded and two outs and delivered a 2-run single to left field.  

 

As fo the arms, Mick Abel started for the Phils and tossed 5innings of 1-run baseball. Orion Kerkering came in to close out the game in the 9th and picked up his first career save in a 12-pitch, 1-2-3 bottom of the 9th.
