Alec Bohm, leads late inning rally as the Philadelphia Phillies beat the Colorado Rockies, 9-3 to start 7-game road trip.  

 

Nick Castellanos led off the 8th inning with a broken bat single, then after JT Realmuto struck out, Alec Bohm stepped to the plate and smacked his third homer of the season, a two-run shot that gave the Phillies a 4-3 lead! It was all Phillies after that!  

 

Trea Turner followed in the 8th with a two-run double to push the lead to 6-3. Then in the 9th, Kyle Schwarber DESTROYED a sink to right field for a 466ft blast and his 300th career home run! Edmundo Sosa capped off the offensive surge with a two-run homer to left.    

 

Cristopher Sanchez recorded a quality start, tossing six-innings of two-run baseball. He gets no decision. The Bullpen trio of Joe Ross, Carlos Hernandez and Tanner Banks held the Rockies to just one hit over the three scoreless innings they recorded.
