The Philadelphia Phillies topped the Tigers 2-0 as Cristopher Sanchez DOMINATED!  

Sanchy tossed eight-scoreless innings striking out six as he improved to 10-3 on the season!  

The lefty needed just 84 pitches to get through his eight innings, but Rob Thomson decided to go with Jhoan Duran for the 9th and the newcomer didn't disappoint. Duran used 12 pitches, including a few 103mph pitches.  

Charlie Morton was dominant over his 6 inning allowing just one run on four hits and a walk. The only run came on an RBI ground out by Max Kepler in the 2nd inning.    

In the 8th, Kyle Schwarber added an insurance run with his 38th homer of the season.
