Todd discusses the supply and demand cycle that is currently happening in multifamily real estate and how to plan for the future. New inventory has flooded into many markets and has peaked in most markets in 2024 and 2025. Through the remainder of the year, along with 2026 and 2027 new construction will slow back down to the norm, creating a healthy rental market. It’s easy to look at the headlines and think that real estate moves quickly; however, it’s important to remember that real estate takes years to make changes.
Todd also reflects on the goals that we set and taking time to reflect on those goals, adjust, and take steps to get yourself back on track to finish the second half strong.
