WTMJ hosts Steve Scaffidi and Kristin Brey were joined in-studio by WISN Channel 12 political reporter Matt Smith, and they began by discussing the detainment of Milwaukee County judge Hannah Dugan for obstruction of justice. A clip from attorney Dan Adams was played from Smith’s show UpFront was played for the legal perspective of the detainment; they all discussed.
-A clip from Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers, also from UpFront, was played about his thoughts on the ICE raids like those at the Milwaukee County Courthouse as it pertained to Judge Dugan’s arrest. They talked about his thoughts and the political party divide on this incident.
-Speaking of Governor Evers, another clip from him was played about his thoughts on re-election, he simply responded with waiting for the budget to pass before he decided. Steve, Kristin and Matt discussed.

Steve and Kristin asked Matt about how this could affect the state of journalism in the future during U.S. President Donald Trump’s second term in office.

Annex Wealth Management CEO Dave Spano joined Steve and Kristin remotely to begin talking about the markets slowly recovering lately, the ongoing trade tension between the U.S. and China and how it all could affect the election going on in Canada that day.

Former Milwaukee County Judge Mary Kuhnmuench joined Steve and Kristin next to talk more about her former colleague Judge Dugan’s detainment at the hands of the FBI; she explained what she knew about her as a judge and how it may have affected her arrest.
-They then asked Judge Mary if the arrest was justified.
