Dean Cameron is the Director of Insurance in the state of Idaho. Property insurance and access to such is a huge concern in this age of wildfires, and nationally we can see heartbreaking examples of states and insurance companies at odds, which ultimately results in losses for individual citizens. Idaho is working extremely hard to make sure that insurance companies have good reason to voluntarily engage in business in this beautiful state. There is currently legislation to assist in addressing some of the more common concerns and roadblocks that would otherwise dissuade insurance companies. Director Cameron did a fantastic job of explaining how Idaho’s government is again standing up for and supporting its citizens. Enjoy!

The school systems in the area are also quite diverse. Boise school district and West Ada School District, though right next to each other, are quite different. Ada County is also home to our state capital and many of our elected officials.
