Primary & Secondary ModCast

Church security is often discussed as though it begins and ends with stopping an armed attacker. That possibility cannot be ignored, but it represents only one part of protecting a congregation.

In P&S ModCast 465 – Foundations of Church Security, host Matt Landfair speaks with Chris Cypert, Brian Horton, Allan McBee, and Steve Moses about building an effective church safety or security team. Warren Wilson was scheduled to participate but was prevented by technical problems.

The discussion examines risk assessment, team selection, medical preparedness, firearms standards, legal considerations, childcare, parking lots, communications, and the relationship between security and ministry.
