In this episode, we're diving into a topic that has kept so many women stuck in an under-earning cycle: the belief that talking about money is bad. So today, I'm sharing my journey of uncovering this mindset, why so many women struggle with it, and how we can shift into confidence and power when it comes to talking about money.
Historically, women being financially independent has been a radical act. So, if you want to celebrate Women's History Month in an impactful way, start talking about money (including reaching out to me on social media if you don't have anyone else to talk to). If we don't talk about money, we don't learn about it. And if we don't learn about it, we don't change the results we get.
In this episode, I cover:
- How societal norms have historically discouraged women from talking about money, contributing to the gender pay gap and financial undervaluation
- Insights into breaking free from these outdated beliefs and adopting a mindset that celebrates financial independence and openly talking about money
- How changing our beliefs and mindset around financial matters can create a world where women thrive financially
