On too many new coach's websites, I’m seeing either:

1.     No lead magnet but instead an offer for a free call high up on the website. Truly, offering a free call as a first offer is like asking a first date to meet your parents. It’s too much too soon. There’s a better way.

2.     Or a lead magnet that with a Google search for the topic would turn up hundreds of thousands of articles on the same concept. So not unique enough.

Have you decided what format you’ll use for your coaching? It’s simple but important.

There are tradeoffs to all 3 real time methods — in person, on web cam, or simply by phone. (For the sake of this episode, I’m not going to talk about coaching online through writing. What’s a unique and innate talent that only you possess that’s also a glowing clue to your coaching niche?  Something that's effortless for you but difficult for others.

It's not coaching. It's more specific than that. Be on the lookout for what emerges as your zone of genius then make it known to everyone in your target audience that you have this special talent.

After choosing a niche, the #1 problem coaches face is attracting enough clients who are able and ready to hire them. Some days you feel like you’re working so hard and there’s this sense that no one is out there noticing. It’s de-motivating to say the least.

If you incrementally charge higher fees you’ll become more confident and also become a much better coach. It worked for me and I’ve seen it work for my clients as well. 

Setting fees that pay you well is one of the 3 big thresholds that holds coaches back. And it’s always about limiting beliefs.
